NonProfit 2.0

Designed to get your organization into the mobile world quickly and easily, NonProfit 2.0™ is a turnkey solution to grow your contributor base and deepen relationships your supporters. From providing basic information about you to making it easy to join and contribute, this custom-branded application will enhance your communication strategy.

The Home Screen

Choose from our selection of designs and themes to find a front page that reflects the personality of your organization, and integrate your logo into the page. Offer links directly into each of the application components.

Use the Banner capability at the bottom of the page to thank sponsors and major contributors, promote events, provide interesting facts about your cause, or anything else you can come up with. The application comes with space for 10 rotating banners. The user can "flick" through them to see all 10, and a new one displays each time the Home screen is opened.

Make It Easy To Join Your Cause

Once users learn about your organization, they're likely to want more information and to get involved. In the Join section, collect name, email, ZIP code and mobile number (along with permission to contact the member using SMS messaging -- a fantastic way to communicate action alerts and short-term contribution requests).

On the second page of Join, capture the information you need about the new member. What interests them about your cause? What skills do they have that you can use as volunteers? Figure out what you'd like to know, and ask it here.

Support Sharing Your Cause And Your App

One of the best things about our networked world is that it makes sharing information easy -- and your iPhone application is no different. Supporters can share the application with a friend directly using SMS or email, or they can share it with their entire group of friends with Facebook or Twitter. You control the message that's sent, and the recipient -- or the person reading Twitter or browsing through Facebook -- can download and install the application with just a few clicks.

Collect Contributions From Anywhere

A wonderful payoff from your iPhone application comes when your supporters decide to contribute financially. The app makes it super-easy to do that, with a simple set of buttons to choose how much to contribute.

The actual payment can be handled using your PayPal and Google Checkout accounts (don't worry if you don't have these -- we'll set them up for you!). We can also facilitate the payment using SMS and the contributor's phone bill!

Describe Your Organization

This is your chance to give supporters the basics about your organization. Lay out your mission and goals, talk about your approach, focus on your work locations, and tell people how to reach you.

Provide Stories About The Good You Do

Nothing motivates supporters like meeting the people who ultimately benefit from their generosity -- face to face. Post stories with photos about individuals and communities you've impacted. Or better yet, post videos that let supporters hear from program participants directly! It's super-easy to link directly to videos hosted on your YouTube channel, and the iPhone plays the video seamlessly and then brings the user right back into your application.

Arm Supporters With Talking Points

You love it when supporters talk with their friends about you -- but how well do they really know your organization? Do they get the facts right? With the Talking Points page you can lay out the message, point by point so you know it's communicated effectively. And you can supplement the enthusiasm of your members with a message from you directly -- just embed a short video in the page!

Post Information About Upcoming Events

Provide a quick and easy reference to events that are coming up. Create sub-categories for different cities, and provide links to more information and information about how to RSVP.

Provide Details About Your Banners

The "banners" at the bottom of the Home screen provide an excellent opportunity to thank sponsors, promote events, highlight key messages, provide facts and figures, and so on. When the user taps on a banner, a web view like the one to the left appears. Use this to go into greater detail about the subject of the banner -- and like the other web views, this can include images, video or audio content, links to other web pages, etc.
